Scaccia Building finished our basement and we are beyond pleased with the final result. Our basement functions as planned, and has played host to family holidays, kids birthdays, friends parties, football viewing, and has been a great retreat in our own the house. From the design, the build out, and follow-up - the experience was top-notch. My biggest concern going into the project was whether the final costs would greatly exceed the initial quote. When I discussed this with Dave prior to construction, he mentioned that he prefers not to win a job by being the lowest bid upfront, but rather by offering a competitive quote that is honest. I can say that our project came in on budget and there was not a lot of “nickel and diming” along the way. If there was a change to plans that we requested, the cost was adjusted and Dave’s proactive communication and explanation kept us well informed. His crew was courteous, professional, and always cleaned up after themselves. The end result - our basement has character - including a secret playroom for the kids, style - to suit my mancave desires, and function - the gym was a great retreat, especially during the pandemic. I cannot recommend these Scaccia Building folks enough. I was happy to volunteer this testimonial and I have already referred several clients!
